Commercial Journeyman Electrician – Solar

As we continue to grow our teams and geographic presence, we have additional openings across our installation crews. We are seeking a highly motivated Journeyman Electrician with impeccable attention to detail to help continue our ethos of excellence.

As a Journeyman Electrician at Axis Solar, you’ll be responsible for both ongoing electrical installations and leading a team of apprentices.

Solar experience is strongly preferred, but not a requirement. A great attitude and willingness to learn are crucial, we can teach the rest.

Journeyman Electrician Duties and Responsibilities:

· Electrical installations of Commercial PV Solar and Battery Backup Systems

· Interconnections to existing electrical systems

· Project reviews and preparation prior to install

· Project completion reporting to Project Manager

· Lead on-site customer communication

· Rooftop electrical work and documentation

· Other duties assigned as needed

Job Requirements:

· Possess a Valid Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician License (Essential)

· 1-2 years commercial electrical experience required

· 1-2 years commercial solar experience preferred

· Be willing to undergo a background check

· Bi-lingual (Spanish) speaking preferred

· Proficient computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office and ERPs

· Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Experience:

• Commercial Electrician: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:
